Ok wow... A few things here. That kid shouldn't be playing video games at all. Secondly, his bros. or whatever are acting like total D-bags and are just making it worse.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't laugh, so I guess that makes me a sadist.

Pssh. See, that's what fads are all about (and memes, of course). If it's only funny because it's new, then people aren't really enjoying the real humor of it, and just diving into the newest thing because everyone else is. I've always thought the cat pics were hilarious, and still do. Hell, I still find Red Skelton, Benny Hill, Monty Python, Richard Pryor, Kids in the Hall, Chris Farley, Tim & Eric, and even Jeff Dunham pretty darn funny. Pretty wide range of comedic 'genius' (IMO), but there it is.

Although I can understand the whole 'worn out' feel things like cat pics can acquire. It's not really a time thing, but more of an overuse thing. Personally, if I find it genuinely funny from the beginning, there's no limit to how often I see it and still find it funny. And yeah, I so have to do this...
